Miller first gained a following in 2010 with his mixtape 'K.I.D.S.' and further established himself in the music industry with his debut studio album 'Blue Slide Park' in 2011, which debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. His music evolved from frat-rap to a more introspective and experimental sound, evident in albums like 'Watching Movies with the Sound Off' (2013) and 'The Divine Feminine' (2016). Mac Miller was known for his exploration of addiction, mental health, and relationships in his lyrics. Tragically, his life and career were cut short when he died from an accidental drug overdose on September 7, 2018.
